Life Map Events
If you think about it there are so many great events that have happened in our lives or that will happen. I know for a fact I have many great events that have happened to me and more to come in my future. From my life map I chose my five most important events which are when I joined my first baseball team, when I hit my first home run, when I won jv mvp and team captain, when I got my car, and when i'll have my own family. First of all, the reason I picked “joining my first baseball team” as one is because baseball is my favorite sport and a big part of my life. The reason I picked “hitting my first home run” is because to a baseball player that is a very big accomplishment and a big deal; there is no greater feeling then the moment you see the ball go over the fence. The reason I picked “winning MVP and team captain” is because being recognized as the best player of the team and to be a team captain is an honor and something that you have to work really hard for. When I got my first car makes the top five because as a young adult everyone just can never wait for their first car and for me to get mine at seventeen and to also have gotten the one I wanted was very meaningful to me, as it being my first car that will always be something important to me. Lastly, I chose “having my own family” because that's going to be the time where I have my own kid and wife and be able to care for them just how my parents cared me for me and each other.
Autobiographical Narrative
My name is Rafael Cabrera and I was born in a small town called Lindsay on March 25 1998. I come from a family of four with both my parents and one little sister. I have gone to school in Lindsay my whole life and it has been good; I have a lot of friends and I am currently attending Lindsay High School. My goals in life are for me to graduate high school, go to a junior college, and then join the fire academy to become a firefighter.
I made a lot of mistakes in school, it was mainly with my grades. For example, my junior year I didn't get to play Basketball due to not having grades. I also didn't get to play half of Baseball season due to not having grades and my sophomore year I barely made grades. I slacked off a lot in class and I kept telling myself that I had plenty of time to do my work. In other words I was just procrastinating the whole time. Obviously like this I wouldn't meet my goal of graduating so I knew I had to step it up and start doing my work more. If I had to give someone advice I would tell them to not slack off and to not think they have all the time in the world. I would make sure to make it clear that they would regret it and that it would do them no good. I sure do regret all the slacking off I did and if I could I would go back and use my time more wisely. Two very important people in my life who have helped me meet most of my goals in life are my parents. They have taught me to always try my best no matter what and things would surely come my way. Grades are very important to them and that's one of the big things they expected from me so when I didn't make grades I felt like I let them down. They were there though to make sure catch up in my classes and I did. My teachers are also important people who helped me achieve my goals in school. They stayed after school with me and they made sure I was motivated to do my work and finish. If it wasn't for them helping me I probably wouldn't be where I am now. So I am thankful for all the help they gave me and all the advice they gave me. Currently I am living life happy on pace on my classes and getting a lot closer to meeting my goals. I can honestly say I am proud of where I am at, proud of all the people around me and proud of how much I have learned and how much I improved on my grades. Not only am I proud of myself, but my parents and some of my teachers are proud of me as well. They're proud because they know the situation I was in, but they saw me overcome it instead of giving up. “Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try” Anonymous.

Writing From Another Class
The bench press is a meaningful workout if you have proper technique. While laying down preparing for the lift you must first adjust your eyes with the bar. The next few things you must do is to make sure both your feet are flat on the ground and keep your legs spread wide open. While you place your hands evenly on the bar your forearms should be at a right angle and your motion should transform for a U shape with your arms to a V shape. During the lift you need to take a deep breath while bring the weight down and release that breath as you are lifting it back up. After the lift do not twist while getting up you will have more of a chance of getting an injury.
There should be three spotters for the bench press. One in the middle and two on the sides by the weights, the middle spotter is the captain of the spotters. The job that the main spotter has is to lift the weight up for the lifter, so he or she doesn’t have to waste their energy. The lifter should not lift on their own because if something goes wrong no one is there to help them.
The parallel squat increases your speed and power. To begin this workout you must make sure your hands are evenly on the groove lines, so the bar can be balanced on you. Next you must focus on something in front of you, but make sure it is something that is located high so you can look up. Also like bench, you should take a deep breath as you are going down and release as you are lifting the weight up. The first body part to move during this workout is your butt.
Similar to bench press there are also three spotters. The middle spotter should have his or hers hands on the bar to make sure the lifter does not fall forward. The end spotters are only needed if there are no safety bars. They are all there to make sure the lifter is doing the lift properly.
The power clean lift increases your jumping power, so how you explode whether it be by jumping or sprinting. The first thing to do before performing is to get into a jumping stance. While grabbing the bar your knuckles should be rotated to the ground and stretch your chin while lifting. The weights should not hit or be bounced off the floor, it all should be in one motion. Once it is lifted up your elbows should be pointed straight out, when you bring the weight down make sure you do not bring it directly to the floor take it to your thighs first.
There is only one spotter needed for this workout, Their job is to make sure that the lifter does not fall back and to critique the lifters technique.
